What are cookies?

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, the types of cookies we use (i.e., the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used), and how to manage your cookie settings.

Cookies are small text files used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when a website loads in your browser. Google Consent Mode v2 (Advanced Implementation) and Cookieless Signals (Pings)

We have implemented the Google Consent Mode v2 mechanism on our website, which manages the behavior of tags and scripts based on the User’s decisions regarding cookies.

If consent for cookies is granted (e.g., for analytics or marketing purposes), Google tags function in a standard manner, storing the relevant files on the User’s end device.

If consent for cookies is refused, our website fully respects this decision—no analytical or advertising cookies are set on or read from the User’s device.

Despite the refusal of consent for cookies, in order to enable us to perform basic measurements of the effectiveness of our informational and advertising campaigns, the website sends so-called signals (pings) to Google servers that do not contain cookie identifiers.

These signals (pings) are non-identifying in nature and are used solely for statistical modeling. They involve transmitting information such as:
timestamp (time of the visit), browser type (User Agent), referring URL (Referrer), and an anonymous ad click identifier (if the User arrived at the site via a Google Ads advertisement).

This mechanism involves the temporary processing of the User’s IP address to establish a connection with the server. According to declarations by the technology provider (Google), when in non-consent mode, the IP address is immediately discarded or anonymized within the RAM of Google’s servers prior to any further processing, and it is not used for profiling or identifying the User.

The legal basis for transmitting anonymous signals (pings) is the legitimate interest of the Administrator (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), which consists of generating anonymous, aggregated statistics on advertising campaign effectiveness without infringing on User privacy and without storing any information on their end devices.

You can modify your cookie settings anytime by clicking the ‘Consent Preferences’ button.

This will allow you to revisit the cookie consent banner and update your preferences or withdraw your consent immediately.

Additionally, different browsers offer various methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Below are links to support documents on how to manage and delete cookies in major web browsers.
